Tiger & Rachel Claim: ‘intimate for about 6 months’

Today the NATIONAL ENQUIRER leaked a portion of an upcoming US WEEKLY expose - to be published tomorrow - on Tiger Woods‘ alleged relationship with Rachel Uchitel:

According to their new story “Tiger and Rachel have been intimate for about six months,” a source was quoted as saying by US. In addition, they confirmed what the ENQUIRER reported FIRST in our bombshell world exclusive that Tiger and Rachel hooked up in a hotel in Melbourne, Australia mid November.

“MLB needs a strong Yankee franchise”

Brian Cashman rarely reveals more than is necessary. As the general manager of the Yankees he faces the media frequently, but he never gives away too much. Instead, he speaks in a rehearsed, collected manner that is alternately comforting and frustrating. Comforting when the team is winning and we’re all happy. Frustrating when the team is struggling and we’re seeking answers. Sometimes I want to see him tone down the censor and talk more in-depth about the job and the decisions.

Russian Football Now Podcast #15: Russia Misses the World Cup

In partnership with Russian Football Now, EPL Talk presents the thirteenth episode of RNF’s podcast.

Russia was many’s dark-horse in South Africa. One problem: getting there.

But i make it a point to be as impartial and objective as i can in my writing.

Firstly, it is true that there was no guarantee that IrelandSource: EPL Talk RSS Feed

Reports Mets pick Dave Jauss as bench coach...

Early reports are indicating that the Mets have selected Dave Jauss as their bench coach. Jauss was selected over several others prospects who were former major league managers. It's unknown whether those perspective coaches declined the position due to the tentative nature of the managers position or whether management didn't want to undermine Jerry Manuel.
While he's not a ready made manager in waiting he is a capable bench coach, filling the position for three different teams ( RedSource: Mets Fever RSS Feed

Mangino On The Brink Of Being Fired By Kansas

Earlier today, we got word that some KU football players, past and present, were meeting with Kansas Athletic Director Lew Perkins to discuss the coaching methods of Mark Mangino.

(Exactly What Did Mangino Do To His Players?)

Mangino then met with Perkins who told him that the school is bringing in an “unbiased” consultant to evaluate the football program.

Mangino maintained to the media that he had not lost his players, and that, “I may have lost some people aroundSource: SPORTSbyBROOKS RSS Feed

Qualification for World Cup 2010 finishes this week. New Zealand beat Bahrain 1-0 making it 24 countries have confirmed a serenade from the vuvuzelas. Eight places remain. Qualifiers are on Nov. 14 and Nov. 18.

Portugal vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina: Portugal will miss Cristiano Ronaldo, but have enough fancy wingers, such as Simao and Nani, to cope with his absence. They solved their striker problem, by importing Liedson from Brazil.  The real issue will be their defending.  BosniaSource: The Big Lead RSS Feed
